A Visit to the Landtrust
I recently had the privilege of taking one of our hiking groups through Candler Park and we had an amazing visit to the Lake Claire Land Trust. All of the rain we have had recently really plumped everything up! The plants were HUGE and the garden was full of fruits and veggies, plus all of the animals looked happy for some visitors! I hope you enjoy some of the pictures I took of our group on this outing, we had a really wonderful time!

After exploring the gardens to see what veggies we could ID, it’s off to find Big Lou
Everything was super overgrown from all the rain, Ellie looks up to admire the flowers!
Sometimes you gotta stop for a rest- all of this exploring has been exhausting!
Over by the goats and chickens we found an adorable and friendly kitty!
By the pond, we found turtles, frogs, and tons of bees and butterflies
Chris found a pomegranate tree!!!
These leaves were bigger than Sara!
Big Lou was excited to see us, but really bummed we didn’t bring snacks. We loved watching him clean himself
